Development of the Baojai Application for Managing Health Checkups of Elderly People in Mueang Ubon Ratchathani District, Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) develop the Baojai application for managing health check-ups of elderly people in Mueang Ubon Ratchathani District, Ubon Ratchathani Province; 2) evaluate experts’ opinions toward the efficiency of the Baojai application; and 3) assess public health officers’ satisfaction with the use of the application. The application was developed using Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, XAMPP, Dart, and Flutter for application design and development. The research instruments consisted of the application development tools, a system efficiency evaluation form, and a user satisfaction questionnaire. The sample group consisted of three experts and 17 public health officers. The statistics used for data analysis were mean and standard deviation.
The research findings revealed that: 1) the Baojai application for managing health check-ups of elderly people in Mueang Ubon Ratchathani District, Ubon Ratchathani Province was successfully developed. The application can systematically support data storage, monitoring, and management of elderly health information; 2) experts’ opinions toward the efficiency of the application were at a high level ( = 4.30, S.D. = 0.46), indicating that the application was appropriate in terms of system structure, functional operation, and its use in supporting elderly health information management; and 3) public health officers’ satisfaction with the use of the application was at a high level (
= 4.19, S.D. = 0.54), reflecting that the application is convenient to use, helps improve the efficiency of managing elderly health check-up data, and can be appropriately applied to public health operations in the area.
