Abstract

This research was conducted as research and development. The objectives were to:
1) synthesize the components and develop motion graphic media entitled “Bueng Phlan Chai”;
2) study the quality of the developed media; and 3) study the target group’s satisfaction with the media. The target groups were divided into two groups: three experts in digital media technology who evaluated the quality of the media, and 30 students in Multimedia Technology and Animation who evaluated their satisfaction with the media. The research instruments included: 1) motion graphic media entitled “Bueng Phlan Chai”; 2) a quality assessment form; and 3) a satisfaction assessment form. Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation.

The research findings revealed that: 1) the synthesized components of the motion graphic media could be classified into four aspects: concept and content, visual and graphic design, motion, and sound and background music. The developed media was 4.45 minutes long and focused on public relations and tourism promotion in Roi Et Province through the application of three-dimensional models for content presentation; 2) the overall quality evaluation by experts was at the highest level (equation = 4.53, S.D. = 0.51); and 3) the target group’s satisfaction was at a high level
(equation = 4.21, S.D. = 0.77). The findings reflect that motion graphic media can serve as an effective tool for communication and local tourism promotion in the context of a digital society.
