Author Guidelines

As of July 1, 2017, the Srinakharinwirot University Engineering Journal (SEJ) has a new submission format and the corresponding guidelines are listed below.

The Srinakharinwirot Engineering Journal invites the submission of technical manuscripts on topics within the scope of the journal, which includes

- Electrical Engineering

- Telecommunication Engineering

- Civil Engineering

- Environmental Engineering

- Mechanical Engineering

- Industrial Engineering

- Chemical Engineering

- Computer Engineering

- Biomedical Engineering

Manuscripts reporting on original theoretical and/or experimental work are welcome. In general, material which has been previously copyrighted, published, or accepted for publication will not be considered for publication in this journal. Exceptions to this rule include items that have limited distribution, have partly appeared in abstract form only, or have partly appeared only in conference proceedings; notice of such prior publication or concurrent submission elsewhere must be given at the time of submission to this journal. All papers are double-blind reviewed, and are considered on the basis of their significance, novelty, and usefulness to the journal readership.

Submission Guidelines

Papers should be concisely written, and be prepared using the given Microsoft Word© template. The paper must be at least 10 pages, but cannot be longer than 15 pages including text, tables, figures, and references. Submitted manuscripts exceeding these guidelines will be returned to the authors without being reviewed. It is essential that each manuscript be accompanied by a 75- to 200-word abstract clearly outlining the scope and contributions of the paper and a list of up to five keywords should be included on the manuscript. All papers should be written in either English or Thai. Introductory discussion should be kept at a minimum and material published elsewhere should be referenced rather than reproduced or paraphrased.

Electronic Submission

Submissions should be made using the ThaiJo web-based editorial processing system at tci-thaijo.org/index.php/sej. For the contributor, who did not have an account, please create an account before submission. Only submissions in Microsoft Word© are accepted. In addition, the author will be asked to provide (i) the name, email, and affiliation of all the authors; and (ii) the title and a text-only version of the abstract. Only electronic submissions that conform to the respective guidelines will be accepted for review. Srinakharinwirot Engineering Journal no longer accepts hard copy submissions nor email attachment submissions.

Copyright Form

Srinakharinwirot Engineering Journal requires, when uploading a camera ready manuscript after acceptance, a signed copy of the Copyright Form.

Page Charge Policy

Payment of page charges for this journal is not a prerequisite for publication.

Policy on Plagiarism

Pre-publication author misconduct, such as double-submission or plagiarism, will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript(s).

Consent of Co-Authors

The corresponding author of a paper accepts the responsibility for obtaining the consent from all co-authors to be designated, as such as well as their approval of all submitted, revised, and final versions of the manuscript. Failure to do so will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript.
