THE DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR THE SWEET POTATO PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT: A CASE STUDY OF TUB-NAM SUB-DISTRICT, BANG PAHAN DISTRICT, PHRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research developed management information system for sweet potatoes of farmers in Tub Num sub-district, Bang Pahan district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayuthaya. The problem area came from cultivation of sweet potatoes, lack of human control, period of cultivation, amount of using chemical that affected less profits. This research was used MySQL and PHP for develop database and web application. Population and sample group consisted of experts of information system development, information system developer and tester. Data analysis were means and standard deviations. The results were at good level and can be used efficiently to resolve the problem.
