งานวิจัยนี้เราใช้แบบจำลองการจัดการฝูงบินด้วยกำหนดการเชิงจำนวนเต็ม เพื่อกำหนดประเภทของฝูงบินให้เหมาะสมกับเที่ยวบินในตารางบินจริงของสายการบินนกแอร์ เที่ยวบินในประเทศ และหาค่าใช้จ่ายที่ใช้ดำเนินการน้อยที่สุด นอกจากนี้เราได้กำหนดจำนวนเครื่องบินที่ลงจอดค้างคืนในแต่ละสนามบิน ผลที่ได้จากการหาคำตอบที่เหมาะสมที่สุดโดยใช้ โปรแกรม LINGO พบว่าเราสามารถกำหนดจำนวนฝูงบินทั้งสองประเภทให้กับทุกเที่ยวบินโดยมีค่าใช้จ่ายน้อยที่สุด และระบุจำนวนเครื่องบินที่ลงจอดค้างคืนในแต่ละสนามบินภายใต้เงื่อนไขที่กำหนด
