Focus and Scope

Environment and Natural Resources Journal (EnNRJ) provides a platform for exchanging and distributing knowledge and cutting-edge research in environmental science and natural resource management to academicians, scientists, and researchers.   

The scope of the journal covers the integration of multidisciplinary sciences for prevention, control, treatment, environmental clean-up, and restoration. The study of existing or emerging problems related to the environment and natural resources in Southeast Asia and the development of innovative knowledge and/or creative recommendations for mitigation measures and sustainable development are emphasized. The subject areas are diverse, but specific topics of interest include:

    • Biodiversity
    • Climate change
    • Detection and monitoring of pollutants and their sources (e.g., agriculture, industry, mining, urban activities, accidents)
    • Disaster (e.g., forest fires, flooding, earthquakes, tsunamis or tidal waves)
    • Ecological/Environmental modeling
    • Emerging contaminants/hazardous wastes investigations and remediation
    • Environmental dynamics (e.g., coastal erosion, rising sea levels)
    • Environmental assessment tools, policy, and management [e.g., GIS, remote sensing, and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)]
    • Pollution control and innovative solutions for pollution reduction
    • Remediation technology in contaminated environments
    • Transboundary pollution
    • Waste and wastewater treatments and disposal technology

Peer Review Process

Peer-review process will be performed by at least two experts. This journal uses single-blind review, which means the reviewers know the identities of the manuscript's authors, but the authors do not know the identities of the reviewers throughout the review process.

Publication Frequency

Environment and Natural Resources Journal is an international journal published in six issues per year (January-February, March-April, May-June, July-August, September-October, and November-December).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The journal is supported, owned and operatedby the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.
