Journal of Science and Technology, Maha Sarakham Rajabhat University  ISSN:2630-0486(Print),ISSN:XXXX-XXXX(Online) publish high-quality articles in: Science includes fields of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, applied statistics, environmental science, and public health. Technology includes the fields of computer science, information technology, and engineering. The journal is scheduled to be published three times a year: issue 1 January-April, issue 2 May-August, and issue 3 September-December.

Publication Policy and Scope

The journal has a policy to publish high-quality articles in the fields of science including biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, applied statistics, environmental science, and public health. Technology comprises computer, information technology and engineering. The target groups are teachers, students, and researchers inside and outside the university.

Journal History

Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University was established in 2018 by the Faculty of Science and Technology. Maha Sarakham Rajabhat University, Thailand

        - 2018 established the name "Journal of Science and Technology, Maha Sarakham Rajabhat University (Journal of Science and Technology, Maha Sarakham Rajabhat University)” with Professor Dr. Chaiyan Skulthai as the editor.

        - In 2020, the person in charge of the journal was changed to "Journal of Science and Technology Maha Sarakham Rajabhat University” with Dr. Kanlayanee Charoensoparat be an editor

        - 2022, certified to be in the TCI database (Thai-Journal Citation Index Center)

        - 2022 Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University Have used ThaiJo's website, which is https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jstrmu/index

Plagiarism Policy

Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University is in the Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) which installed the CopyCatch system for checking plagiarism of all submitted manuscripts. All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism within 24 hours. If plagiarism is identified by the committees, editors and article reviewers, etc., at any stage before or after the review process, the authors will be notified and required to revise the manuscripts or citations that have been plagiarized. If more than 10% of the content is plagiarized, the manuscripts may be recommended for rewriting or rejected, and the authors will be notified immediately.

Manuscript Evaluation Policy

Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University will be considered and reviewed by experts in the related fields with a double-blinded review method. The review process uses a double-blind method where experts evaluate at least two out of three reviewers. The expert selection is important to the publishing process, which takes into account a number of factors including expertise, reputation, specific recommendations, conflict of interest, previous works, speed, thoroughness, reasonable discretion, and friendliness. The evaluation process should not involve direct contact between the author and the reviewer; only the editor can be the medium of communication between them.

Peer Review Process

Every article must be reviewed by at least two expert peer reviewers in such a way that the peer and author do not know each other's names (double-blind review). The process of considering an article for publication in the Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University consists of 5 steps as follows:

1. Preliminary review of the manuscript by the editorial team (1 week):

The submitted manuscripts will be screened for their completeness by the editorial team consisting of page layout, language use, plagiarism (not more than 10%), sufficiency and credibility of sources used in references, writing style, reference, and Redundancy. If the format of the manuscript does not consistent with the journal's specifications or has a plagiarism rate higher than the journal's specifications, the editorial team will not accept the article for the review process and the author will be notified.

2. Consideration of the correctness - appropriateness by peer review (1-2 weeks):

For the submitted manuscript that has passed the first stage of review, the editorial team will consider at least 2-3 experts to review the manuscript in a double-blind method before contacting and submitting the manuscript to the experts. The levels of experts’ evaluation are as follows:

2.1 The manuscript is accepted to be published (Accept).

2.2 The manuscript deserves to be published with minor revision required (Accept with minor revision).

2.3 The manuscript deserves to be published with major revisions required (Accept with major revisions).

2.4 The manuscript is not accepted to be published (Reject).

3. Consideration of the evaluation results from peer review (1 week):

After receiving the complete evaluation results from the peer review, the editorial team will consider and summarize the results again. The manuscript that will be published must receive evaluation results as “Accept” or “Accept with minor revision.” The manuscript with the “Accept with major revision” evaluation result will be considered by the editor. The manuscript with the “Rejected” evaluation result will not be accepted for publication in the Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University.

4. Revision (1-3 weeks):

The manuscript that is accepted for publication will be notified by the editorial team to revise following the recommendation of the experts and additional comments from the editorial team (if any). The author must complete all suggested revisions and clarify the revisions then submit the revised manuscript and documents explaining the revision to the editorial team within the specified time.

5. Consideration of revised manuscript (1 week):

After receiving the revised manuscript, the editorial team will consider the correctness again. If the manuscript has been completely revised, it will be approved for publication and brought into the artwork arrangement process.

Access Description

The Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham is pleased to provide open access to our academic work. The users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the whole contents of articles and used the articles for other legal purposes. All articles published in this journal are immediately free of charge from the date of publication. There is no charge for readers to download articles for their academic use. The Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham is operated under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which allows the free reproduction of articles for non-commercial use only with appropriate reference. All authors published with the Journal of Science and Technology, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham must accept these terms of condition for the publication.

The copyright of the article published in the Journal of Science and Technology, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham is of the author of the article. Any person who wants to republish must get permission from the author. Articles that have been accepted for the Journal of Science and Technology, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham must not appear in any other publication before publishing in the Journal of Science and Technology,  Rajabhat Maha Sarakham. The editorial team will send authors a link to the journal with the author's article published. In case the authors want the published articles, they can download or print them out from the articles in the Journal of Science and Technology, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham.
