A Development of the Child Education Welfare at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok

Abstract

This experimental research is A Development of the Child Education Welfare at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. The purposes of this research were as follows, 1) to develop the Child Education Welfare System of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, 2) to assess the developed system using a test case, and 3) to assess the quality of the developed system by experts in the information technology area and to find the satisfaction of users after using the developed system. The system for this research is a web application using PHP as a tool for developing the main system and using MySQL for this database. The research tools were 2 questionnaires as follows, the quality questionnaire for experts to evaluate the quality of the developed system, and the satisfaction questionnaire for users to find satisfaction after using the developed system. After the system was tested by the researcher and modified some modules for better working, the system has been assessed by 5 experts selected by purposive sampling and 193 users in King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok who used to reimburse welfare between January 2019 – July 2020. The system consisted of 3 parts, users’ parts, financial staff in faculties, and financial staff in the financial division. The expert revealed that the quality of the system experts was at a high level (Mean = 4.43, SD. = 0.81)., and the satisfaction of the system by users after using was at a very good level (Mean = 4.62, SD. = 0.54). In conclusion, this system can be used in related jobs properly.
