The Instructional Development with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications for Matthayomsuksa 1

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to 1) Gain the efficiency of the Instructional with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications Subject for Matthayomsuksa 1. 2) Compare the students’ pretest and posttest scores in the Information Technology and Communications Subject. 3) Identify the students’ satisfaction in learning with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications Subject for Matthayomsuksa 1. The samples used in the study were 30 students studying at Matthayomsksa 1 level at Boonkhomratbumrung School in the academic year 2014. The research instruments included the teaching materials using the Instructional with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications Subject for Matthayomsuksa 1, the pretest and posttest in the Information Technology and Communications Subject, and the questionnaires on students’ satisfaction in learning with the Instructional with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications Subject for Matthayomsuksa 1.The statistical devices used in the study were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t – test for dependence samples. The findings revealed that the efficiency of the Instructional with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications Subject for Matthayomsuksa 1 was 82.93/80.85 in average based on the standard. The students’ learning achievement after using the Instructional with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications Subject for Matthayomsuksa 1 was higher than that of the pretest: 8.20, S.D. 0.40 while the average of the posttest was 16.17, S.D. 1.49, and the t-test between the pretest and posttests was 3.77 which had a significant difference at the 0.05 level. The students’ satisfaction in learning with the Instructional with Project - Based Learning in The Information Technology and Communications Subject for Matthayomsuksa 1 gained the average of 4.47 which was at the high level.
