About the Journal
Aims and Scope
Interdisciplinary Research Review (IRR) is an interdisciplinary journal with an applied edge, open access and aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for the dissemination of current knowledge and advances in the interdisciplinary science and technology research. In this journal, interdisciplinary research is the integration of information, data, methods, tools, observations, theories, and concepts from two or more academic disciplines or bodies of specialized knowledge. Groups and individuals can manage and solve problems that advance fundamental understanding or bodies of specialized knowledge. Interdisciplinary Research Review publishes original research work, either as full-length articles or as review articles, and interdisciplinary research set.

Types of Peer Review
Interdisciplinary Research Review is peer-reviewed the triple-blind review system, which means the three academic reviewers and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the peer review process. The entire process will be accomplished by 3 months.
Types of Journal Articles
The Interdisciplinary Research Review is dedicated to publishing original research articles and comprehensive reviews, also known as “review articles”, across a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary fields, as detailed further.:
- Original Research Articles:
An original research article is a detailed study of new work written by the researchers who conducted the interdisciplinary research or experiment, and is classified as primary literature. It should be composed of a literature review or background, methods, results, conclusions, and discussion, and should not exceed 8 pages in length and approximately 4,300 words.
- Review Articles:
Review articles are aimed at summarizing a comprehensive foundation on interdisciplinary topics, describing the present state of knowledge, identifying gaps in existing research for potential future research, and highlighting the main methodologies and research techniques. Furthermore, they should not exceed 8 pages in length and approximately 4,300 words.

Interdisciplinary Research Review is an open-access, bi-monthly publication, with six number per year:

There are approximately 8-10 articles in each issue, resulting in an annual total of 48-60 articles.
Language
Interdisciplinary Research Review is an English-language publication. It is highly recommended that authors write in a clear, concise, and comprehensible manner while also using appropriate grammar and spelling rules.
Publication Charges
There is no publication fee for Interdisciplinary Research Review. Articles that are accepted will be published free of charge. Any reader can access published articles through the journal website with complete open access.
Publication Malpractice Statement
The Interdisciplinary Research Review aims to prevent any kind of scientific misconduct, including plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and authorship issues, and upholds the principles of research integrity. Every manuscript submitted is examined for any possible instances of plagiarism. The journal adheres to global norms, guidelines, and flowcharts supplied by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (available at: http://publicationethics.org/resources) to prevent any possible scientific misconduct.
Open Access Policy
The open access policy of the Interdisciplinary Research Review is to increase the visibility and reuse of interdisciplinary research results by promoting open access and making research results freely available to a wider readership, anywhere and at any time.
Ownership and Management
The Interdisciplinary Research and Development Committee of the Royal Society of Thailand, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University, Muban Chom Bueng Rajabhat University, the Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Institute of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Association of Interdisciplinary for Research are collaborating to publish the interdisciplinary research journal. The five cooperating institutes fully support and own the interdisciplinary research journal. Phetchaburi Rajabhat University has been unanimously authorized by the six institutes to administrate management and operational matters and to act as manager for the Interdisciplinary Research Review to maintain its rigorous peer review process, high publishing standards and open access to scientists, scholars and Researchers maintain worldwide. A notable feature of this journal is that, at the invitation of the editor-in-chief, 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus has joined the international editorial board, as well as several prominent professors serving on the international editorial board. Additionally, prominent Thai professors and scientists are members of the editorial board.

Copyright and Licensing
Copyright must be granted to the Interdisciplinary Research Review for all manuscripts submitted for publication. Interdisciplinary Research Review must give written consent for any reproduction, whether it be in whole or in part. With the exception of mistakes made during printing or publishing, the author is in charge of the content of their publications. It is permissible for others to distribute any article published in the Interdisciplinary Research Review as long as it is not modified or used for profit and gives credit to the journal and author.
Revenue Sources
The publishing process of the Interdisciplinary Research Review is completely free. Every step of the journal publishing process is fully supported by the five institutions. Our collaboration with six institutions aims to create an environment that encourages researchers and academics to use our journal platform to present their interdisciplinary research contributions.
Advertising and Direct Marketing
Any form of commercial advertising is not allowed by the Interdisciplinary Research Review. Ads are not permitted to appear in the Interdisciplinary Research Review journal.
Journal History
Formerly known as the Journal of Western Rajabhat Universities (ISSN: 1905-6583), the journal Interdisciplinary Research Review was founded in 2006 in collaboration with Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University and Muban Chom Bueng Rajabhat University. The articles in the first period issues of the journal were published in Thai. Then the Interdisciplinary Research and Development Committee of the Royal Society of Thailand was chaired by Prof. Emeritus.Dr. Med. Dr. Vajaradul Yongyudh, M.D. – the chairman of the committee moved to the Western Rajabhat Journal as editor-in-chief. The name of the journal was changed to “Journal of Thai Interdisciplinary Research” (ISSN: 2465-3837) and new editorial board members were added since 2014. The next years, the members of the editorial board again decided to change the name of the journal to “Interdisciplinary Research Review” in 2019, which was carried out with the intention of improving the publication internationally. Since then, the journal Interdisciplinary Research Review has published international interdisciplinary articles to this day. A notable feature of this journal is that, at the invitation of the editor-in-chief, 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus has joined the international editorial board, as well as several prominent professors serving on the international editorial board.
