Abstract

Abstract

The study aimed to assess the programs and policies of selected public secondary schools in Bataan province, providing an overview of the accomplishments and challenges faced in the implementation of Executive Order No. 570 (EO 570). A descriptive research design with a quantitative technique was utilized to assess schools' policies and programs based on teachers' perceptions of peace education implementation in their respective schools. The results revealed low implementation of formalized plans, insufficient teacher training, a lack of mobilization of resources, and weak integration of peace education into the curriculum. To address these challenges, several strategic recommendations were proposed. School administrations were advised to develop a comprehensive peace education plan aligned with EO 570, enhance teacher professional development, and strengthen administrative commitment.
