Motorcycle Theft Warning System via the using Telephone Network

Abstract

Currently, motorcycles have been added warning system with original protection system for reduce the risk of theft, such as neck lock and key lock, etc. General warning system is alerted by voice alarm siren or horn with flashing lights. The limitation of system is distance to hear. The research idea is to use new technology solving this problem. New system generates alert signal and send to owner about status of motorcycle although staying far away. The system composes of four parts. First, Arduino board controls the system. Second, GSM module will call owner when something wrong on motorcycle. Third, mercury switch sensor use to check the tilting of motorcycle. The last one is horn warning in narrow area. Experiment divides into two case, to lift the front wheel 5 times and making motorcycle stand upright 5 times. The result can generate alarm 10 times.
