A Development of Computer Assisted Instruction in Subject “Plant Around Us” for Prathomsuksa 4 Students using behaviorism theory

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: 1) Develop of a Computer-Assisted Instruction in subject “Plant Around us” for Prathomsuksa 4 students according to the set criteria of 80/80, 2) to compare the students’ achievements before and after they had learn through the constructed computer assisted instruction, 3) to study satisfaction toward the Computer Assisted Instruction in “Plant around us” The samples were 30 of Prathomsuksa 4 students, selected through purposive sampling technique. The instruments comprised of 1) the computer assisted instruction on topic Solar System 2) achievement test on topic Solar System and 3) the questionnaire in subject Plant around us used to survey the students’ satisfaction. . Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test of dependent samples.

The results of this research indicated that: 1) The Computer-Assisted Instruction had efficiency of 82.00/83.56 that was corresponding with the 80/80 specified criteria. 2) The students learned by using the Computer Assisted Instruction had the learning achievement significantly higher than before the experiment .05 level. 3) The students’ satisfaction with learning through use of the Computer Assisted Instruction was a high level.
