CONDITIONS OF USING LPG AND NGV IN PASSENGER CARS IN BANGKOK AND SUBURBAN AREA

Abstract

This paper aimed to study and compare conditions of using LPG and NGV in passenger cars in Bangkok and suburban area in five sections as follows: installation, maintenance, pricing, wear of engine, and the satisfaction in utilizing from sample group of users LPG and NGV amount 400 person in Bangkok and suburban area which consist of Chachoengsao, Samutprakan, Nonthaburi and Pathumthani province. Data collection devices are questionnaires and were analyzed by Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, F-test, One-way ANOVA, and Least Significant Difference.
The results showed that: Users LPG and NGV have the score level greatly opinions in each section as follow: installation, users will decisions install gas system in cars as the result of uncertainly price of petroleum, maintenance, users will check working of gas system always(x ̅= 3.77)pricing, If governments policy let the gas prices, according to market mechanisms would affect the conditions of using the car on a daily life (x ̅= 3.57)deteriorate of engine, the engine have a higher heat when compared using to petroleum. As a result, deteriorate of engine wear down faster than normal (x ̅= 3.64) and the satisfaction in utilizing, users want to expand in the gas filling stations continued (x ̅= 4.00)
