International Journal of Building, Urban, Interior and Landscape Technology (BUILT) was founded in 2010, publishing its first issue in 2011. It has gradually grown over the past decade to become the most widely cited open-access journal in the field of Building, Urban, Interior, and Landscape Technology, with its most recent volume publishing over 130 articles. It is now indexed by Thailand Citation Index (TCI) after undergoing a rigorous review process.

As we enter the year in 2021, Associate Professor Dr. Pawinee Iamtrakul, who has served as BUILT Editor-In-Chief for its entire existence to date will continue to be around and is devoting more energies to the launch of an open-access journal devoted to short-form articles, and the development of its accessibility Manual.

The Journal has also added new volunteer editors and associate editors to help with the increased workload. The Journal is published and sponsored by the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University, Thailand.
