A case study of XYZ crude oil drilling company in Kamphaeng Phet Province revealed delays in the maintenance material issuance process, which negatively affected the operational efficiency of both warehouse and maintenance functions. This research aims to improve warehouse management efficiency with two main objectives: (1) to analyze the causes of delays in the maintenance material issuance process within the warehouse, and (2) to enhance the efficiency of the material issuance process. The research methodology began with data collection and analysis of delay causes using a Fishbone Diagram. Based on the findings, process improvements were implemented by redesigning the warehouse layout according to ABC Analysis to align with material usage volume and value. This was complemented by the application of a Kanban system and the installation of clear visual labels to improve control and reduce operational time. The results indicate that the application of ABC Analysis enabled the identification of high-priority materials, leading to a revised layout in which critical items were grouped in close proximity. This adjustment reduced the travel distance required during the material issuance process by 17 meters, representing a 40.48% reduction. Furthermore, the integration of the Kanban system with clear visual labeling significantly reduced the process time from 6.68 minutes to 2.72 minutes, accounting for a 59.28% reduction. These findings demonstrate a significant improvement in the efficiency of warehouse operations.
