DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB APPLICATION TO SUPPORT STUDENT ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT AT PHITSANULOK UNIVERSITY

This research, entitled “Development of a Web Application to Support Student Activity Management at Phitsanulok University,” aimed to (1) develop a web application for managing student activities and (2) evaluate users’ satisfaction with the system’s performance. This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach based on an information system development process. A key feature of the research was the development of a web application capable of managing student activity data in real time to enhance efficiency, reduce data redundancy, and facilitate data monitoring by users. The sample consisted of 104 students from Phitsanulok University who were selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a user satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the developed web application effectively supported student activity management. It reduced data redundancy, improved data accuracy, and facilitated the recording, verification, and monitoring of activity data by students and system administrators. The system performed its core functions correctly and enabled the rapid display of information for management purposes. The overall level of user satisfaction was high ( = 4.20, SD = 0.58). Data accuracy received the highest mean score (
= 4.25), followed by overall satisfaction (

= 4.20), respectively. These findings indicate that the developed system is suitable for practical use, meets users’ needs, and systematically enhances the efficiency of student activity management.
