Application of QR-Code Technology for Equipment Inventory in College of Industrial Technology and Management

Abstract

This research aims to study of the user requirements of the application of QR-code technology for equipment inventory in college of industrial technology and management, to develop the system of the application of QR-code technology for equipment inventory, to evaluate the efficiency of the system by experts and to study of the user satisfaction with the system. The sample groups of this research are five experts, two administrators and twenty-four users who use the system for equipment inventory management. The research tools include the following: 1) the website of the application of QR-code technology for equipment inventory in college of industrial technology and management was developed using PHP, Bootstrap Framework and MySQL, 2) the administrator interview questions, 3) the user requirements, 4) the evaluation form of the system efficiency, and 5) the user satisfaction. The results of this research shows that the score of the current system problem is 4.38, the score of the user requirements is 4.63 and the score of the evaluation of the system efficiency by experts is 4.83. The score of the user satisfaction in terms of the user requirements, the benefits and the functions of the system are 4.83, 4.85 and 4.82, respectively.
