Abstract

This research aimed to 1) develop a web application for inventory management for Chutikarn Pottery Shop and 2) evaluate user satisfaction with the developed system. The target group consisted of 10 participants, including the shop owner and employees, selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included the developed inventory management web application and a five-level Likert scale satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were mean and standard deviation. The results indicated that the developed system fully met user requirements, covering product management, product categories, employee management, purchasing, goods receiving, and inventory reporting. Overall user satisfaction was at a high level (x̄ = 4.20, S.D. = 0.69). When considering each aspect, the findings showed that: System design and usability were at a highest level (x̄ = 4.45, S.D. = 0.60). System performance efficiency was at the high level (x̄ = 4.00, S.D. = 0.68). Data management and reporting were at a high level (x̄ = 3.98, S.D. = 0.66). Overall satisfaction with the system was at a highest level (x̄ = 4.38,
S.D. = 0.70). These results demonstrate that the system effectively reduced operational time, minimized errors from manual data recording, and improved the accuracy of inventory stock verification. Therefore, the developed inventory management web application is efficient and suitable for practical implementation in small businesses and can be adapted for other retail businesses with similar inventory management characteristics.
