Optical Properties of Conic Sections

บทคัดย่อ

We prove optical properties of conic sections involving trajectories of light passing through foci of the conic sections and reflecting at the conic sections according to the law of reflection. Proof techniques employed include coordinate-free proof and proof by contradiction, which are accessible to high-school students.
