Abstract

This research presents the design and development of a cross-platform application for searching shops and services in Roi Et Rajabhat University area with ionic Framework, OpenStreetMap and MongoDB. Using Ionic Framework, a cross-platform framework for front-end development, the application can be run as a web application or as a mobile application (Android and iOS). Users can search for shops/services by using text search or by navigating an integrated map, developed by using OpenStreetMap data. They can also register a new shop and its location using the map. The search results are based on the distance between shop/service and user location. Users can also review shops/services and filter the search results based on the reviews notes. The very satisfied results of a performance and satisfaction test, with an average of 4.07 and 4.05 for respectively users and expert satisfaction test, show the efficiency and the usability of the proposed system.
