Water Level Measurement using Capacitance Measurement Technique
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper presents the water level measurement technique using a capacitance measurement. The probe is a parallel plate capacitor made of printed circuit board (PCB). Techniques for measuring capacitance was used by applying the modified bridge circuit. Results show that the measured voltage is in the range of millivolt (mV) and is proportional to the variation in water level, Results show non-linear and 8.53% FSO, repeatability 4.45% and hysteresis error were 2.97%FSO respectively. This technique can be efficiently used in real-time water level measurement. Moreover, it is low cost, easy to use, and portable.
