Frequently Asked Questions
Log in to your OJS author account at ph02.tci-thaijo.org. Your manuscript dashboard shows the current status in real time. You will also receive automatic email notifications at each stage (initial evaluation complete, reviewer assigned, decision sent, revision due). There is no need to email the editorial office to ask for status updates.
The average time from submission to first editorial decision is approximately 4 weeks (1 month). Initial evaluation (scope and plagiarism check) typically takes 1–3 business days. If a manuscript passes initial evaluation, it is sent to 2–5 independent reviewers who each have 2 weeks to respond. The Editor-in-Chief then makes the final decision. Once accepted, the article is typically published online within 2–4 weeks.
We aim to respond to all queries within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, Thai business hours, UTC+7). If you have not received a response after 5 business days, please resend your email to aseanjstr@tsu.ac.th with the subject line including your manuscript ID (if applicable). Check your spam/junk folder, as automated OJS emails are sometimes filtered.
The APC (฿4,000 Thai Baht / US$150) is only payable after your manuscript has been accepted for publication. Payment details (bank account information for Government Savings Bank, Papayom Branch) are included in your acceptance notification email. After making the bank transfer, please email proof of payment to aseanjstr@tsu.ac.th with your manuscript ID. There is no submission fee.
