Development of Production Tracking System Using Quick Response Code Case Study: Garment Industry

Abstract

Production Tracking System Using QR Code (Quick Response Code) is used for monitoring and tracking production processes in a garment industry. The system uses QR Code for accessing employee, product and process information. The information of product statuses is stored in a database with a web technology surfing on any devices such as smart phones and tablet computers. The system is able to pursue and monitor statuses of all production processes. It is also fast and efficient way to monitor the defects work piece in a timely manner to ensure quick production turnaround and raw materials must be readily available. The tracking results provide daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly to display statistical information of product development for being a systematic manufacturer.
