The Effect of The Behavior Changing Model for Avian Influenza Prevention among Community Leaders, Nonkok Sub - District, Kasetsombool District, Chaiyaphum Province

Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of the Behavior Changing Model to prevent Avian Influenza among community leaders in Nonkok Sub - District, Kasetsombool District, Chaiyaphum Province. Applied Health Belief Model and Social Support Theory. There were 84 participants simple randomly sampled, 42 for experimental group and 42 for control group. Data were collected by questionnaire before and after the experiment of 12 weeks. The findings revealed that, the experimental community leaders increased their knowledge in avian influenza, health belief model comprehension and behavior changes in preventing avian influenza with statistically significance (p – value< 0.05).
