Abstract
This Study purposes a Prevention Model of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever by the participation of community health leaders, Muangboa Sub–District, Chumphonburi District, Surin Province. This research used the methods of action research and aims to development of a model for the prevention of dengue fever by the participation of community health leaders. This research selected by purposive sampling from a board of the village and community health leaders officers (45 people). Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. For qualitative data was used content analysis. The result of this research indicated that the model for the prevention of dengue fever by participation of community health leaders. This Consisted of eight areas including: 1) Context study 2) Board of Directors of the village 3) Meeting of the community's action plan for the development of disease prevention at the community level. 4) Implementation 5) Monitoring and evaluation 6) Results of operations 7) Summary of the success factors. 8) Evaluation. After implementing the proposed model the outcomes of the participation in the form of anti-dengue by the involvement of community health leaders. After the development, the participation was good. Factors of success in this research consisted of a systematic process, community participation, vigorous leaders, partnership networks with sufficient and continuous supports about prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic fever. The control of dengue in the community more effectively. The rate of dengue hemorrhagic fever in the community decreased.
