          2. The students, the activity advisers and the administrators differed in their opinions on the said activities as a whole as well as in individual aspects at  the .001 level of statistical significance.
           3. Comparatively, the  students, opinions on the said activities were found to be the following. By  gender, the students did not differ in their opinions on the said activities as a whole and  in  individual aspects. By faculty attended and domicile, the students did not differ in their opinions on the said activities as a whole. When individual aspects were considered, however, they differed in the aspects  of positive effects of the activities at the .01 and .05 level of statistical  significance. By class standing, the students differed  in their opinions on the said activities as a whole and in individual aspects at the  .001 level  of  statistical  significance.
           4. The students, the activity advisers and the administrators agreed on the following as appropriate forms of freshmen-welcoming and cheering-session activities for Thaksin University.  The activities should be held on campus. Freshmen-welcoming activities should be held jointly for students of all  faculties. No more than two weeks should be allowed for the activities. Freshmen,s attendance at such activities should be checked. Activity advisers should participate closely in the project. The activity advisers and the administrators differed from the students by expressing their preference for the following. Cheering-session activities should be held jointly for students of all  faculties. Freshmen-welcoming  activities should not be held separately from cheering-session activities. Freshmen should not be barked  at. On the part of the students, they felt that the forms of the freshmen-welcoming and cheering-session  activities complied with all the objectives of theses activities. This was in conflict with the opinions of  the activity  advisers, who felt that the activities complied with some of the objectives only and with  the  opinions of the administrators, who felt that the objectives were not complied with at all.
