Abstract
The purposes of this research were to reduce the workload of farmers and provide faster and more efficient work. This will be a new alternative for entrepreneurs or farmers who still use the method of planting seeds by hand into seeds trays, which will reduce production costs and lead to increased productivity. Scope of the research: Use Festo fluid Sim 4.2 program to control the pneumatic seeds planter. The seedling tray is 34x54cm.The seeds planter is 50cm wide, 90cm long and 60cm high. Used for melon, lettuce, kale, chili and tomato seeds. There are 3 sizes of seeding heads: 1) 2.5mm 2) 1.32mm 3) 0.84mm and set to plant 1-4 seeds per hole and thay are 20 trays of each type of seeds (1-4 seeds), totaling 100 trays. In conclusion, the results of the experiment on dropping 5 types of seeds at 3 sizes, 2.5mm., 1.32mm. and 0.84mm. were as follows: 1) Melon seeds are large and long, they require large size droppers. The most accurate dropper head is 2.5mm. 2) Kale seeds are small and round, they require small size droppers. The most accurate dropper head is 1.32mm. 3) Lettuce seeds are small and round, they require small size droppers. The most accurate dropper head is 1.32mm. 4) Chili seeds, because chili seeds are small and light, they require small size droppers. The most accurate dropper head is 0.84mm and 5) Tomato seeds are small and light, they require small size droppers. The most accurate dropper head is 0.84mm. A total of 300 tests, the accuracy of this seeds planter is 96% and the error is 4%. it can drop seeds in 1 tray (50 holes) in 1 minute and when compared to human work, it takes about 15 minutes, depending on the potential of each person.
