Design and Development of an Asset Approval System for Inbound and Outbound Transfers via a Mobile Application: A Case Study of Fujitsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Abstract

This research aims to1) Design and develop a system for requesting approval to bring assets in and out of the premises, using a case study of Fujitsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd., through a mobile application.2) Study user satisfaction with the asset approval system. The target group consists of 55 employees and managers involved in the process, aiming to reduce issues related to missing emails and workflow complexity. The research tools include the asset approval system (case study of Fujitsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd.) through a mobile application and a satisfaction survey for the system. The statistical methods used for data analysis are mean and standard deviation.

            The research results indicate that the system is convenient to use ( = 4.40, S.D. = 0.48), allows for data verification ( = 4.60, S.D. = 0.44), and ensures data accuracy ( = 4.60, S.D. = 0.48). The overall statistical analysis shows an average score of 4.55 with a standard deviation of 0.28. Therefore, the developed asset approval system demonstrates a high level of user satisfaction.
