Content Analysis of Grade 10-12 Mathematics Courses and Undergraduate Mathematical Education Curriculums

Abstract
These current research objectives are to analyze contents in grade 10-12 mathematics courses and undergraduate mathematical education curriculums in Thailand and their alignment. Textbooks and teacher’s manuals for grade 10-12 mathematic courses and undergraduate mathematical education curriculums were collected and content analyses were implemented by counting their frequencies. We have found that undergraduate mathematical education curriculums do not align with grade 10-12 mathematic courses at all such that a) very low percentage of statistics courses b) very higher percentage of teacher and education courses, and c) low percentage of advanced mathematics coursed related to high school mathematics courses.
