As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

1. Types of Articles for Publication

1.1 Research Article: An original article derived from research, detailing the research methodology, experimental results, data analysis, and clear conclusions.

1.2 Academic Article: Articles characterized by the following categories:

- Literature Review: A comprehensive review of documents and existing research on a specific topic; considered a highly significant contribution.

- Technical Paper: An article presenting product development processes, field testing, or innovative analytical techniques.

- Professional Practice: An article based on the author’s professional experience or specialized expertise.

- Policy Paper: An article concerning the organizational policies in various sectors.

2. Article Components

2.1 Research Article

A. Front Matter (Title Page): This section must be self-contained and include:

- Title: Should be concise and clearly indicate the primary objective of the research.

- Authors: List only the first and last names of all authors (exclude titles/ranks).

- Affiliation and Mailing Address: Provide the institutional affiliation and full postal address for all authors.

- Superscript Numbers: Use superscript numbers after the surname to identify the academic position and address of each author.

- Abstract:  A concise summary covering the essentials of the study, including objectives, methods, results, and discussion.

- Keywords:  List 3–5 keywords to be used for database indexing and searching.

- Corresponding Author: Mark the surname with an asterisk (*). Provide their telephone number and e-mail address.


B. Body Text:
Consists of the following:

- Introduction: Explains the significance and rationale of the research, including the objectives and a relevant literature review.

- Research Methodology / Experimental Methods: Describes the research procedures, experimental design, equipment, tools, setup, and measurements.

- Results and Discussion: Presents clear and concise findings organized by topic, followed by a critical discussion of the results.

- Conclusion: Summarizes the key findings of the study.

- Acknowledgements: Identifies research funding sources (if any) and acknowledges organizations or individuals who supported the research.

- References: Must strictly follow the format prescribed by the RMUTP Research Journal Sciences and Technology. Only include sources cited within the text. (IEEE style)

2.2 Academic Article

A. Front Matter: Contains the same components as a Research Article.

B. Body Text: Consists of the following:

- Introduction: Explains the background and rationale for writing the article.

- Results / Implementation Results: Presents clear findings or outcomes organized by the topics studied or implemented.

- Conclusion: Summarizes the key points of the study.

- Acknowledgements: Identifies funding sources (if any) and supporting organizations or individuals.

- References: Must strictly follow the journal’s prescribed format and include only sources cited within the article. (IEEE style)
