Publication Ethics: RMUTP Research Journal Sciences and Technology emphasizes the utmost importance of the following:

     - Plagiarism of other works, inclusive of self-plagiarism
     - Manuscripts or articles with data fabrication or falsification
     - Manuscripts or articles with citation manipulation
     - Articles that have been published elsewhere.

The ethical standards for publishing academic work in RMUTP Research Journal Sciences and Technology are governed by principles of ethics, transparency, and fairness. To maintain the quality of the journal in accordance with international standards, ethics and responsibilities of authors, editors, and reviewers have been established as follows:

 

Authors

     1. Authors must be honest, virtue, and ethical in conducting research work.
     2. Authors must not submit articles to other journals simultaneously.
     3. Authors must not plagiarize of other works and self-plagiarism
     4. Authors must accurately reference information according to academic standards.
     5. Authors must present research findings directly, without distorting data or creating false evidence to support their own results.
     6. Authors must not include individuals who have not contributed to the research in the article.

 

Editors

     1. The responsibility of the editor is to review, assess, and select articles preliminarily, ensuring that the articles are appropriate, substantial, and align with the journal's scope.
     2. Editors have the responsibility to carry out various tasks in accordance with the objectives of the journal, including improving or developing the journal to meet standards.
     3. Editors are responsible for checking for plagiarism before the peer-review process.
     4. Editors are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the content before publication.
     5. Editors must not have biases towards authors or their affiliated institutions.
     6. Editors must select qualified reviewers who have expertise directly relevant to the subject matter of the manuscript.
     7. Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding authors and peer reviewers, ensuring that information is not shared between them.
     8. Editors must not publish their own articles in their own journal without exception.
     9. Editors must not have conflict of interests and should not seek any form of personal benefit whatsoever.

 

Reviewers

     1. The reviewers must assess only manuscripts within their own area of expertise.
     2. The reviewers must complete their evaluations within the specified timeframe.
     3. The reviewers must evaluate manuscripts impartially, avoiding personal bias and sticking to academic fundamentals.
     4. The reviewers should provide professional and constructive comments and suggestions to the authors.
     5. The reviewers must maintain confidentiality and refrain from disclosing manuscript information to others.
