พฤติกรรมการเล่นพนันฟุตบอลของนักศึกษา: กรณีศึกษา สถาบันอุดมศึกษาแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดขอนแก่น

บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการเล่นพนันฟุตบอลของนักศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษา แห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดขอนแก่น ผลการศึกษาพบว่า นักศึกษาเริ่มเล่นพนันฟุตบอลมาตั้งแต่สมัยเรียนในระดับ มัธยมศึกษา นอกจากที่ต้องการเชียร์ทีมฟุตบอลที่ตัวเองชื่นชอบเพื่อความสนุกสนานและตื่นเต้นในการติดตามชม การแข่งขันแล้ว ยังมีสาเหตุมาจากความอยากได้เงินเป็นปัจจัยหลัก เพื่อนำเงินไปเที่ยวสถานบันเทิง ซื้อของใช้ ฟุ่มเฟือยและราคาแพงตามสมัยนิยม ผลกระทบและปัญหาที่ใหญ่ที่สุดที่เกิดจากการเล่นพนันฟุตบอล คือ ปัญหา เรื่องการเงิน ซึ่งจะสร้างปัญหาต่อเนื่องไปยังปัญหาอื่น ๆ คือ ปัญหาความเครียดจากการเสียเงินพนัน ความเครียด ที่จะต้องหาเงินมาชำระถ้าเป็นหนี้ และปัญหาด้านสุขภาพจิตที่ต้องระแวงการถูกตามทวงหนี้ นอกจากนี้ยังมีปัญหา เรื่องความสัมพันธ์กับเพื่อนเปลี่ยนแปลงไป กล่าวคือ ผู้เล่นพนันฟุตบอลมักจะคุยกับเพื่อนน้อยลง ขาดเรียนบ่อย ครั้งขึ้น และอาจต้องหยุดพักการเรียน หากมีหนี้สินจำนวนมาก ๆ

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to study the behaviors of undergraduate students in an institution in Khon Kaen province. The results showed that students began to gamble since they were at the secondary school. The causes of football gambling were not only from their desire to cheer up their favorite teams for enjoyment but also they wanted to gain more money that was highlighted as a main factor. This was because they would like to pay for their night life places or to luxurious dotain and expensive items. The main effect of the football gambling was financial problem which linked to endless problems such as stress and depression from losing the gambling, pressure from paying back the debt, having some mental problems and being afraid of being demanded to pay of a debt. Moreover, there were some problems on the relationship among friends because they skipped the classes and some might give up their study due to a huge amount of debt.
