Abstract

This research aims to study the thermal conductivity and burn rate of thermal insulation. The polyurethane foam was digested into tiny pieces mixture with Hevea brasiliensis and borax. Remove moisture from insulation by sun. Result show the higher thermal conductivity of the insulation when higher density. Lowest rate of fire at density 190.05 kg/m3.  Average thermal conductivity was 0.048 W / m K and burn rate of fire was between 1 - 3 mm / min.
