การพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลพืชสมุนไพรไทย (DEVELOPMENT OF THAI HERBS DATABASE SYSTEM)

The objectives of the research on development of herbs database system are: 1) to develop herbs database system; and 2) to evaluate satisfaction towards the use of herbs database system. Research tools were: 1) herbs database system; and 2) Assessment Form on Satisfaction towards the use of herbs database system. The results revealed that the herbs database system was obtained with 3 main parts including the parts of general users, members, and administrator. The part of general user could be operated to search for herbs information by providing output based on herbs and their properties. For the part of members, data could be searched in the same manner as that of general users but they were able to add additional information on herbs. For the part of administrator, administrator was able to manage all information in the system including adding, deleting, and editing information on herbs, properties, and benefits, as well as checking herbs information added by members and approving them before publishing via the system. The result of evaluation on satisfaction towards system usage from the sample group was 104 general persons was in high level with the mean of 4.27
