ชนิดพืชและการกักเก็บคาร์บอนของพืชมีท่อลำเลียงในป่าบุ่งป่าทาม บ้านนางโท อำเภอเมืองยาง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา

ป่าบุ่งป่าทาม เป็นป่าริมน้ำที่มีแนวโน้มลดลงอย่างต่อเนื่อง เนื่องจากการขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจด้านการอนุรักษ์และการใช้ประโยชน์ของชุมชนและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง การวิจัยจึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาชนิดพืชและประสิทธิภาพในการกักเก็บคาร์บอนของป่าชุมชนบ้านนางโท อำเภอเมืองยาง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ซึ่งเป็นป่าบุ่งป่าทามริมแม่น้ำมูลส่วนน้อยที่คงเหลืออยู่ของจังหวัด การสำรวจพืชมีท่อลำเลียงในพื้นที่ 80 ไร่ (ประมาณ 32 เอเคอร์) พบพรรณไม้จำนวน 45 วงศ์ 113 สกุล และ 138 ชนิด ค่าดัชนีความหลากหลายของพรรณไม้ มีค่าเท่ากับ 3.66 ค่าความสม่ำเสมอในการกระจายตัว มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.74 วงศ์ที่พบจำนวนชนิดมากที่สุด คือ วงศ์ถั่ว (Fabaceae) 24 ชนิด รองลงมา คือ วงศ์เข็ม (Rubiaceae) 11 ชนิด วงศ์มะขามป้อม (Phyllanthaceae) 7 ชนิด และวงศ์มะม่วง (Anacardiaceae) วงศ์กุ่ม (Capparaceae) วงศ์ขันทองพยาบาท (Euphorbiaceae) วงศ์ตะคร้อ (Sapindaceae) วงศ์ละ 5 ชนิด พรรณไม้เด่นในพื้นที่ ได้แก่ ข่อย (Streblus asper Lour.) มะค่าแต้ (Sindora siamensis Teijsm. ex Miq.) ฉนวน (Dalbergia nigrescens Kurz) ตะโกนา (Diospyros rhodocalyx Kurz) น้ำใจใคร่ (Olax scandens Roxb.) แดงสะแง (Schoutenia ovata Korth.) ตะแบกนา (Lagerstroemia floribunda Jack) พลับพลา (Microcos tomentosa Sm.) สะแกนา (Combretum quadrangulare Kurz) และเถาวัลย์เปรียง (Brachypterum scandens (Roxb.) Wight & Arn. ex Miq.) ซึ่งพบจำนวนต้นมากที่สุด ตามลำดับ พรรณไม้ที่มีปริมาณมวลชีวภาพเหนือพื้นดิน ปริมาณคาร์บอนสะสม และปริมาณการดูดซับคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์สูงสุด 5 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ ฉนวน ประดู่ป่า (Pterocarpus macrocarpus Kurz) ข่อย มะค่าแต้ และตะโกนา โดยมีปริมาณมวลชีวภาพเหนือพื้นดิน 30.66, 30.23, 17.33, 15.91 และ 15.14 ตัน ตามลำดับ ปริมาณคาร์บอนสะสม 15.33, 15.11, 8.67, 7.96 และ 7.57 ตันคาร์บอน ตามลำดับ ปริมาณการดูดซับคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ 56.26, 55.47, 31.80, 29.20 และ 27.79 ตันคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ ตามลำดับ
