บทคัดย่อ

ในปัจจุบันที่โลกมีอุณหภูมิสูงขึ้น ทำให้เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าประเภทตู้เย็นและอุปกรณ์ทำความเย็นมีความสำคัญต่อความเป็นอยู่ของมนุษย์เป็นอย่างมาก เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าที่มีการใช้สารทำความเย็นเป็นองค์ประกอบเหล่านี้ก่อให้เกิดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและภาวะโลกร้อนเป็นอย่างมาก โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งด้านการใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าและการปลดปล่อยสารทำความเย็น การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์ (1) เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบผลกระทบด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของตู้เย็นที่ใช้แล้วระหว่างหน่วยการจัดการซากผลิตภัณฑ์นอกระบบ และหน่วยการจัดการซากผลิตภัณฑ์ในระบบ (2) เพื่อเสนอแนวทางการจัดการของเสียอันตรายประเภทตู้เย็นที่หมดอายุเพื่อรองรับมาตรการจัดการขยะอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของประเทศไทย กลุ่มตัวอย่างซากผลิตภัณฑ์ตู้เย็นชนิดที่ใช้ในบ้านและเป็นของเสียอันตรายจากชุมชน จำนวน 5 ตัวอย่างต่อพื้นที่ ภายใต้หน่วยหน้าที่การทำงาน ตู้เย็นขนาด 6.0-7.0 คิวที่ใช้สารทำความเย็น R134a ชนิด 1 ประตู อายุใช้งานมากกว่า 10 ปี งานวิจัยนี้ทำการศึกษาหน่วยการจัดการซากผลิตภัณฑ์ตู้เย็นนอกระบบ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ และในระบบ จังหวัดชลบุรี ขอบเขตการศึกษาตั้งแต่กระบวนการนำเข้าซากผลิตภัณฑ์ตู้เย็น
จากครัวเรือนมายังจุดรวบรวม การรื้อคัดแยก การขนส่ง การรีไซเคิลและการกำจัดซากตู้เย็น การประเมินวัฏจักรชีวิตใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป SimaPro 8.3 ผลการทดลองพบว่า (1) กลุ่มผลกระทบด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ก่อผลกระทบสูงสุดทั้งสองรูปแบบ รองลงมาคือ ผลกระทบด้านการเกิดความเป็นพิษต่อระบบนิเวศน์ทางบก ที่เกิดขึ้นเฉพาะการจัดการซากผลิตภัณฑ์นอกระบบ และผลกระทบด้านการลดลงของโอโซน ในสัดส่วนที่แตกต่างกันตามลำดับ การจัดการซากผลิตภัณฑ์ในระบบมีการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกเพียง 3.21 kg CO2eq ขณะที่การจัดการซากผลิตภัณฑ์นอกระบบมีการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก 192.20 kg CO2eq โดยเป็นอัตราที่สูงกว่าถึง 59.87 เท่า (2) งานวิจัยนี้ได้เสนอแนวทางการปรับปรุงกระบวนการเรียกคืน การรื้อแยกซากตู้เย็นที่ใช้แล้ว การจัดการสารทำความเย็นและการจัดการวัสดุให้มีความเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมมากยิ่งขึ้น
