Knowledge and Attitude toward the ASEAN Community of Students in Paphayompittayakom School, Phatthalung Province

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study and compare the knowledge and attitude toward the ASEAN Community of students in Paphayompittayakom School, Phatthalung Province. The variables were classified by sex, education level, grade point average (GPA), parent’s education level, parent’s occupation, average monthly household income and learning experience about the ASEAN Community. The 284 case of questionnaires was used to gather data in sample size which obtained from the method of Stratified Random Sampling without Replacement. The result of study found that the knowledge of students toward the ASEAN Community is moderate and the attitude of students is high. For the variables of sex, education level and learning experience about the ASEAN Community are significant at 0.05 to the knowledge toward the ASEAN Community, and the variable of average monthly household income is also significant at 0.05 to the attitude toward the ASEAN Community
