Medical Equipment Loan Mobile Application

Abstract

Illnesses can happen to anyone. For some cases, families can purchase medical equipment and use the equipment to help take care of their ill or elderly family members without needing to admit the family members into hospitals. When medical equipment is no longer needed for any reasons, families usually donate it to hospitals or related agencies allowing hospitals or agencies to lend the equipment to families who need the equipment but have no mean to pay. When the number of donated equipment increases, it poses burdens to hospitals. Therefore, the medical equipment loan mobile application “Bang Bao” aims to help hospitals manage medical equipment loan easily. The application allows users to request for medical equipment loan online without the need to come to hospitals. Staff can see and approve lending and returning requests. Users can search and view all medical equipment including its availability status. The application is developed using Flutter and Firebase.
