AutheNFT: NFT-BASED AUTHENTIC PRODUCT VERIFICATION AND TRADING PLATFORM

Abstract
The problem of counterfeits is a well-known and on-going issue, especially in a luxury market where the product is well-crafted and the price is high. There are many attempts to introduce a solution in order to prevent the damage caused by this problem. Even nowadays, where technology has advanced and blockchain technology became popular, is no different. Researchers tried to address the mentioned problem using blockchains in various ways. This article proposes a system which can assist in product trade and verify genuine products using the power of technologies like NFT and IPFS. The proposed solution also expands the trading process scope by including the product warranty consent from product seller. Lastly, the article discusses about how the proposed system could be improved in several aspects.
