Design and Implementation of a 2D Adventure Puzzle Game

Abstract
In the media and entertainment industry, the gaming industry is one of the fastest growing. However, the Thai gaming industry is also an import rather than a domestic use or export. Thai government agencies support the development of games by independent developers and game entrepreneurs. This article presents the design and development of a 2D side-scrolling puzzle adventure game using Unity on the PC platform using Microsoft Windows operating system implemented by independent developer to provide entertainment and enhance observation and analytical thinking skills. The design of this puzzle adventure game prototype allows it to have a variety of gameplay styles. The testing results presented that the game performed exactly as designed. All features of the system were rated more than 4.00 satisfactory by testing players, except the game's difficulty level, which was 3.86 Results for improving the observation and problem solving skills were 4.55 and 4.41 respectively.
