The Development of Event Registration Data Management System MSU Open House, Mahasarakham University with QR code Technology.

Abstract

The purposes of the research were 1) design and develop a registration management system for MSU Open House activities at Mahasarakham University, using QR code technology to facilitate the enrollment of students interested in pursuing further education at the university. The system is developed as a web application utilizing PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and supported by a MySQL database with assistance from Visual Studio Code. 2) study and evaluate the effectiveness of the registration management system for MSU Open House activities using QR code technology among a target group of 7 experts, selected through purposive sampling. The research employs an information system performance assessment questionnaire, consisting of five dimensions. 3) examine the satisfaction levels of users of the registration management system for MSU Open House activities using QR code technology among a sample group including students, parents, and external participants who registered for the event. The research employs a user satisfaction evaluation questionnaire. The statistical tools utilized in this study include mean and standard deviation.

The results of the research indicate that the overall information system performance of the registration management system for MSU Open House activities, evaluated by 7 experts, is rated at a high level, with an average score of 4.78±0.26. The individual dimension mean scores are as follows: (1) compliance with requirements 4.83±0.25, (2) task performance 4.80±0.36, (3) ease of use 4.83±0.24, (4) efficiency 4.80±0.36, and (5) data security 4.66±0.35. Additionally, the user satisfaction evaluation of the registration management system from 1,471 participants who responded to the questionnaire indicates a high level of satisfaction, with an average score of 4.70±0.53.
