Abstract

This paper aims to design and construct a vertical axis wind turbine. This can get low speed wind 2-7 m/s. 2 types of comparison are wind turbine Savonius and wind turbine Darrieus. By using the air from the coil, the split air conditioning system. The test to determine
the effectiveness of a wind turbine to produce electricity. Found that the wind speeds are equal and constant. Wind turbine Darrieus. Can rotate and generate electricity than a wind turbine Savonius. This can be applied to the hot air coil of the industrial air conditioning.
