The Opinion on Synthesis of Curriculum Administration Following the Qualifications Framework for Higher Education

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to synthesize curriculum administration following the qualifications framework for higher education and study the opinions on synthesis of curriculum administration following the qualifications framework for higher education. The procedure of this research included 3 steps. Step 1 was the focus group by luminaries for synthesis to information system from 10 persons and used the semi-structured interviews for study the regulations and principal need assessments. Step 2 was analytical consistency of research questionnaires of 5 experts using the item objective congruence index. Step 3 was analysis of appropriate ness the synthesis by 10 experts for measure the average of appropriate ness and adjust results of synthesis the system from comments. 

The findings were as follows: 1) The information system for curriculum administration following the qualifications framework for higher education in terms of characteristics, roles and relations consisted of 9 aspects : Authentication Module, Communication Module, Teacher Module, Student Module, Businessman Module, Program Specification Module, Course Specification Module, Experience Specification Module, and Learning Outcome Module. 2) The result of analytical appropriate ness of information system for curriculum administration following the qualifications framework for higher education found that characteristic appropriateness of measuring system at the highest level and the completeness of the roles of the measuring system at the highest level.
