Development of Multimedia Instruction based on Behaviorism Theory Entitled Hello ASEAN

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) to develop instruction at multimedia based on the theory of behaviorism on the topic “Hello ASEAN” with the efficiency standard criterion at 80/80, 2) to study the effectiveness Index (E.I.) of the developed instructional media in multimedia program, and 3) to compare the pretest and post-test scores of the students who studied with the developed instruction multimedia. The sample consisted of 30 grade six students in the second semester of the academic year 2014 at Thairuthwittaya 72 (Tesaban 8) School under Nakhon Udon Thani Municipality Educational Office. They were selected using a simple random sampling method. The instruments used in this research were 1) a developed multimedia instruction and 2) a learning achievement test with a reliability at 0.85.

            Results of the research found that. 1) The developed instruction multimedia had an efficiency rate at 80.50/80.67. 2) the instruction at multimedia had an effectiveness index of 0.61. 3) the students showed gains in learning achievement from before learning via the developed multimedia at the .05 level of significance.
