Incident Risk Assessment Software for Cha-am Hospital in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to develop an incident risk assessment software application of Cha-am hospital in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi with the efficiency; and 2) to study the acceptance of the software. The target group consisted of 30 personals associated of Cha-am hospital in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi. The research instruments were 1) a risk assessment software application of Cha-am hospital 2) questionnaire about people’s opinions and
3) an acceptance form. The data was analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation.  

The research finding showed that 1) the risk assessment software can visualize the results of risk assessment using colors, monitor the incidents and the level of risk exposure. This enables the hospital to deal with the encountering incidents in time and prepare and plan for the preventive and corrective measures for the possible incidents in the future. Future work is to integrate this system with the development of decision support system, which would enhance the risk management rapidly and efficiently. 2) The efficiency was at the highest level. And 3) the users showed acceptance of the software was at the highest level.
