Development of the Special Children Developmental Assessment System

Abstract

The objective of the research is to develop a special student assessment system for supporting teachers at Kalasin Special Education Center in order to enhance the development of special students in a systematic and sustainable way. The system was developed with the principle of dynamic website (dyna-mic website) with PHP language and MySQL database. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used to analyze the system. This system is focused on assessing the development of special students by evaluating basic abilities. Then system will introduce the development plan for each student. After that, students will be evaluated in their ability after following the development plan. The system was tested using black box testing, as well as the satisfaction questionnaire. The experimental results showed that the special children tracking system can perform well in all functions also user satisfaction is in the very good level.
