THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTER-ASSISTED INSTRUCTION BASED ON GAGNE'S THEORY IN COMPUTING SCIENCE COURSE FOR MATHAYOM SUKSA 1 STUDENTS AT BANGRAKAMWITTAYASUKSA SCHOOL

Abstract

The purposes of the research were 1) to construct  and effectiveness of computer-assisted instruction based on Gagne's theory (2) comparing before and after being taught through the approach through computer-assisted instruction and (3) evaluated satisfaction of computer-assisted instruction of computing science course. The target group was 38 students mathayomsuksa 1 in the second semester of the academic year 2019 at Bangrakamwittayasuksa School, Phitsanulok. Research evaluation use the test for taught through the approach, computer-assisted instruction quality assessment form, learning Achievement test and  satisfaction form for computer – assisted instruction based on Gagne's theory.

The research findings showed that the assessment the quality of constructed computer-assisted lesson based on Gagne's theory in computing science course are satisfied level average score at 4.19 , the effectiveness score is 90.18/86.40 which was higher than the set score and follows the hypothesis. The results of the learning Achievement from the study with computer-assisted instruction was higher than pre-test at statistically significant (p < 0.05). The satisfaction results for computer-assisted instruction reported high level.
