Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) design and develop an electronic portfolio and an electronic working load system in educational institutes and 2) assess user satisfaction upon the electronic portfolio and the electronic working load system in educational institutes. The target group was 50 users which included teaching personnel, teaching support personnel and administrators, obtained by using a purposive sampling method. The research tools were 1) the electronic portfolio and the electronic working load system in educational institutes and 2) users’ satisfaction questionnaire upon the created system. The statistics used in the research were mean and standard deviation.

The research findings showed that 1) the design and development of electronic portfolio and electronic working load system in educational institutes which were operated on the web application as an electronic document consisted of 3 parts; managing electronic portfolio and electronic working load, reporting, and managing system data in order to bring the results to use in personnel management efficiently and 2) the results of evaluating users' satisfaction upon the system showed that users were satisfied with the use of the system at a high level (= 4.46, S.D. = 0.59).
