Design and Development of Electricity Consumption Control System through Smartphones

Abstract
This research aims to design and develop an electricity consumption control system through smartphones based on the electricity tariff calculation method. To effectively manage the energy consumption of devices connected to Wi-Fi. The process commences with the design and development of a module to measure energy consumption. The microcontroller receives measurements of voltage, current, and power for processing. The received information is sent to the smartphone via the Internet to display various parameters. The test results confirm that the proposed system can display voltage, current, and power. The voltage measurement error is under 1%, while the current measurement error is under 10%. Additionally, the electricity tariff error is less than 1%.
